Computer Backup is a high-security service. All data are encrypted with backup, stored in an encrypted form at the data centre, and decrypted on the customer’s computer. TechnologiesThe solution uses various technologies that speed up the backup process and reduce the volume of files. Delta Block – is a technology that transmits and stores information in packets. It does not resend entire files to the data centre but only sends the Delta Block incremental changes within files. As a result, network traffic is decreased, enabling backup with dial-up connections, reducing storage space needed for backup and speeding up the backup process.
SendOnce – saves storage space and time by avoiding duplication of data.
EmailOptimizer – enables access to local e-mail archives (*.pst and *.nsf) by allowing the retrieval and identification of text and attachments. This technology decreases the need for storage space for e-mail files by 30%.
The above technologies help to reduce data volume up to 85% as compared to traditional solutions.
