MicroLink that provides support for the computers, servers and other appliances of Hewlett-Packard, one of the world’s biggest technology maker, received high praise from the cooperation partner for the quality of HP support center’s work.

MicroLink HP support center was the recipient of the highest title “The Ultimate Service Partner” among all the HP service partners in the Baltic region.

The award was accepted at the HP service partner event in Riga by Erki Rajangu, MicroLink HP support center’s director, who said the title is a great honor. “HP support service was launched as a separate structural unit only two years ago. We have won the trust of many clients in a relatively short period of time,” said Rajangu.

To award the title, HP assessed its partner’s compliance with several criteria; taking into account MicroLink’s service quality, sales results for additional services, its loyalty, dedication and cooperation readiness.

Rajangu said that every day they adhere to very strict rules. “When leasing a car, the contract seldom includes the provision for how quickly a workshop must solve an engine malfunction, for example. However, IT appliances have a critical importance for business. Support services have a set time limit within which we must repair any errors,” explained Rajangu.

One of the biggest duties for MicroLink HP support center is to perform warranty repairs on more than 4000 laptops that the Tiger Leap Foundation gave to school teachers last year. The computers are new and Rajangu said that the percentage of errors is practically nonexistent. All problems that have arisen have been fixed quickly.

MicroLink also cares for thousands of HP appliances in such organizations as the Ministry of Justice, Tartu University and Eesti Telekom Grupp.

Last year Hewlett-Packard also awarded MicroLink the title of Gold Preferred Partner 2009 that gives testament to the competence and dedication of MicroLink Eesti in offering HP products and services.
