The largest Estonian IT company, MicroLink opened an Authorized Sun Solution Center in Tallinn, Estonia, within a new Estonian ICT Demo Centre. The Authorized Sun Solution Center (ASSC) brings together the experience, expertise, and technology of Sun Microsystems and MicroLink in a state-of-the-art test lab environment.
MicroLink uses ASSC to build and to test prototypes of business solutions for their customers. The goal of the ASSC is to minimize risk, justify expense, and shorten time to deployment of new business solutions by providing customers the tools needed to ‘test before you invest’.
The Estonian ICT Demo Centre is a window into the Estonian ICT world. The Demo Centre is established for introducing the Estonian ICT solutions and to encourage their implementation in Estonia and in the international market. It is also an environment for integrating and testing various IT solutions and a platform for co-operation between researchers and innovative enterprises.
”Estonian ICT companies are very innovative and have developed state-of-the-art solutions, for example for e-government. The Demo Centre is a great initiative to portray the skills of Estonian ICT industry both in Estonia and international markets. Through ASSC MicroLink’s customers have now access to the experience and the technologies of 23 Authorized Sun Solution Centers world wide,” says Hannu Nyländen, the Country Manager for Sun Microsystems in Finland and in the Baltic countries.
The Authorized Sun Solution Centers are owned by Sun Partners. Every year more than 3500 customers and 400 partners build and test working prototypes of business solutions at 23 Sun Solution Centers around the world. Each center provides:
