The Server Backup service is suitable for enterprises that have servers but do not have the data backup solutions, and for those who wish to make backup copies outside their facilities.

Server Backup ensures a 100% recovery of data and simplifies the backup process. We provide reliable, disk-based backup without the risks of tape-based backup. Backup copies are made automatically at the MicroLink data centre.

The backup solution includes automatic data backup, data storage and data recovery, facilitating continuity of your business activities. The administrator can access backed up data via any online computer.

Server Backup:

provides backup to any type of data: databases, files, etc;

allows you to fix the backup schedule for every server at your choice, even with the frequency of only one hour;

Server Backup Is Simple!

INSTALLATION – it’s easy to install: just install the agent on the server you wish to protect.
AUTOMATIC BACKUP – schedule the backup to occur at intervals of your own choice. Once full backup has been performed, the backup of changes will only take minutes.
DATA STORAGE – MicroLink data centre stores data versions for up to 100 days.
DATA RECOVERY – enables quick and reliable data recovery with the help of secure Internet connection or by other means of digital media.
SIMPLE ADMINISTRATION – Server Backup requires the help of IT only when the agent is installed and parameters of backup and recovery are set. Through the MicroLink Support Center, changes to data backup settings can be made centrally.
FILE RETRIEVAL – viruses, user mistakes and corrupted data can no longer stop servers from working. We use the Heal technology to retrieve your files.

Server Backup saves disk space because we use the following technologies:

SendOnce – saves your money because it avoids performing recurrent backup on identical files. It operates simultaneously on the server as well as PC data, and it occupies only a unique file in the data centre. This patented technology saves storage space and time by avoiding duplicated information.
Delta Block – This patented technology backs up only the changes made in the files. As a result, network traffic is decreased and less disk space is taken up by recurrently backed up large-size files. It also speeds up the rate of data backup and recovery.
Data Compression – after applying SendOnce and Delta Block, the files are compressed so that they would take up less storage space.
Heal – This technology saves time by restoring only the part where an error occured, not the whole file, configuration or application.
Rolling back – quick data recovery by rolling back to the most recent version.

Security

MicroLink uses the same measures, protocols and standards that financial institutions employ for data protection. All data is encrypted with a unique key that only the client can use. We use AES encryption with a 256-bit encryption key and the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol to ensure secure transport and storage of your data.
